Interstates has invested in the testing and verification required to earn NTEP’s ‘Certificate of Conformance’ for I-Control, starting with v5.5. This certificate serves as validation that the I-Control software has been rigorously tested and verified to meet NIST Handbook 44 requirements for accurately reading weight data and accurately aggregating weight data throughout the control system.
I-Control is certified by NTEP to electronically record a weight from a certified scale, mass flow meter, or other certified primary element. Further, I-Control is proven to accurately aggregate data through the control system. For example, I-Control can record weights from multiple certified devices and add them together to calculate total weight. The final weight is certified to meet NIST Handbook 44 requirements, important for facilities where ‘legal-for-trade’ certification from a local governing body is a primary goal.
