Safety Awards At Interstates Construction, the safety of our valued employees is a top priority. Our Commitment to Safety has earned us recognition from our clients as well as a Number of Awards.

We start each day with our "Daily Huddles" to keep safety as a primary focus on each job site. The Interstates Environmental Safety and Health Program meets or exceeds all requirements as outlined by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA).

Safety industry consultants have rated Interstates' underlying safety culture in the 95th percentile of their client database.

We have a detailed company Environmental Safety and Health Program manual that provides information and outlines in detail all of our safety programs.

At Interstates, we use safety as criteria for field employee evaluations as well as a rating system for our superintendents and foremen during performance reviews.

Each jobsite is required to have an effective and working Emergency Action Plan. The Interstates Companies have an authorized OSHA outreach trainer on staff who makes sure that jobsites are inspected regularly and weekly safety meetings are held for all supervisors and employees.
